Twelve – The Album

“Twelve” is a collection of original folk/rock songs I whipped up this year in my home studio. Half of the songs are just voice and acoustic guitar, others are larger productions, still, I played, recorded, and mixed every part myself, so this is by no means a big studio album. Rather, “twelve” represents my songwriting in the most personal way. It’s the first time I’ve ever shared my squeaky, out of tune, abrasive voice. Why did I release this album? It’s quite simple. I’m not getting any younger and the prospect of croaking with a head full of songs that no one has even heard is too sad to imagine. This album is about clearing my head and allowing more songs to come along. It’s also about stretching my musical comfort zone a bit.
